Jeff Steffen was the only one of our three finalists who brought all of his subcontractors to our house to thoroughly scope out the job, and, ultimately, provide input to his cost estimate. He also impressed us with his calm and self-assured demeanor, giving us confidence that he would give our job all of the attention it deserved.
Jeff met and exceeded all of our expectations. He assembled a great team that, along with our architect and landscaper, actually made this project fun. We relied heavily on Jeff’s advice regarding the myriad of ongoing decisions and are extremely happy with the quality of our “new” home - in terms of both workmanship and aesthetics.
Throughout our project, we knew that Jeff was always on top of it. His subcontractors were excellent - and very easy to work with. Jeff did an outstanding job of working within the budget and keeping us well-informed. Best of all, he has continued to stand behind his work. Whenever we’ve needed something attended to in the course of regular maintenance, our first call is to Jeff, who - if he doesn’t address it himself - will connect us with the appropriate folks.
Bottom line, we are very happy with the results of our major remodeling project - and the process that got us here.
